My home is Indianapolis, Indiana.
I'm an aspiring front-end web developer with a passion for learning new skills, and then passing that knowledge onto others.
My first website went live in 1996. It evolved from animated gifs and blinking text to tabular layouts with borderless frames in the late 90's. It was an amazing privilege to be among the pioneering online community of angst-ridden teenage webmasters. But, life outside the web happened, and it was a sad day when I let my domain expire.
I re-emerged into the world of web development in 2013, and found myself crawling through a new and exciting world, and playing catchup has been an amazing adventure with no end in sight.
I'd like to advance from amateur to professional someday, and I feel that day is getting closer.

I've been stubbornly learning solo so far, but am just now beginning to appreciate the beauty of collaborative learning and project building. So, my ultimate challenge is to overcome my social anxiety and join a meetup group of like-minded web enthusiasts.
